I don’t usually write about my own releases here, but I’m too excited about this not to share. I’ve never been quite as excited for a music video as for this one. The amazing Goddamn Cobras collective teamed up with Family Records to create a mesmerizingly beautiful and charming video for Pearl and the Beard‘s crowd-pleasing Will Smith Covers Medley. It accompanies the national release of their record this week, with a show at NYC’s Joe’s Pub, a live appearance on WNYC’s Soundcheck, a 15-date tour and the album being featured as one of the week’s most exciting new releases on AOL Spinners. More on all of that here. Watch the video in HD here. Can anyone help us get this to Will Smith or the legendary Jazzy Jeff?
