I’m A&R-ing the upcoming Porter Block album The Gowanus Yacht Club for Engine Room Recordings. The cast of characters in this video is NOT an Undisputed Heavyweights reunion, but Jeff Jacobson laying guitars for the album, Jamie Alegre doing drums, Casey Shea doing background vocals and overall production tips, and Mr. Andy Baldwin as the producer. Here Peter lays down some bass.

This is a multimedia slide show capturing the last Undisputed Heavyweights rehearsal, soundcheck and the Oct 14th Bowery Ballroom show, while streaming audio from the rehearsal and the show. Wow, last night….just wow. What a special experience. Haven’t had that much fun on stage in…..well….actually I always have tons of fun on stage, but this was definitely the most amazing. The crowd singing our song for a few minutes after we had left the stage until we came back to take a bow was touching and beautiful and I’ll remember the nigh forever. (See video below). Underwear was thrown (mostly clean), Pearl And The Beard killed, Matt Singer and Wakey!Wakey! were awesome and I was very proud of everyone involved. Family Records & BreakThru Radio Team Up For Mixtape

To celebrate the first ever Family Records’ Revue at Bowery Ballroom, BreakThru Radio and Family Records teamed up for a special limited edition mixtape only available the night of (08/14/08). It collects live performances of the artists on the Bowery Bill recorded in NYC for BTR’s Live Studio with Maia MacDonald.
