I just finished the cover art for Matt Singer‘s upcoming EP The Drought (08.26.08, Family Records) last night. The EP holds 6 tracks and was produced by Dan Jeselsohn in Brooklyn. I think it’s Matt’s best work yet and am very excited to share it with you soon. It’s a great collection of literary, intricate yet simply accessible songwriting with a lot of nuance in a This American Life kind of way. Some of it is hilarious, some of it touching, and we’ll be trying to reach a very specific audience for it. More on that later.
