The latest signing at Engine Room Recordings is Lowry, whose album Love Is Dead will be released in August in conjunction with their super exciting All Points West appearance with Grizzly Bear, Mates Of State, Andrew Bird and a little band called Radiohead. It’s a dream to have one of my bands for the first time appear on a major festival and I couldn’t be more excited about their record and how good it is. I’d position it between Death Cab For Cutie and Nada Surf aesthetically speaking. Check out two songs off the album on their myspace and a full live set can be streamed over at BreakThruRadio.
