Today is an exciting day at Engine Room Recordings as we sequence, mix and master Guilt By Association Vol. 2, a compilation of some of my favorite indie rock bands covering their favorite mainstream pop songs. Volume 1 was released last year and included Will Oldham covering Mariah Carey, Petra Haden covering Journey, and more. Check out the tracklist and stream some songs from Vol. 1 here. Today I’m playing around with different song orders for Volume 2 and we’re thrilled with how all the songs came out.
